World renowned Addo Elephant National Park is a beautiful scenic National Park with history and geology, medicine plants and animals in abundance. Let our guide take you around this park and tell you about history, geology, fauna and flora of this amazing park. They will do their best to introduce you to as many of the animals available in the park and tell you about them. There are toilet stops and a short break at the main camp where there is a curio shop and information centre.
The Addo Elephant National Park does deserve an 8 hour drive to do justice to it. With 3 hours more than the half day we can spend more time looking for good sightings, and to catch the late afternoon animals when the nocturnals come out. Each drive is unique and cannot be easily planned. Animals are on the move constantly and the route will be to find them.
The tour will be with a qualified guide. If the tour is with 3 persons or less we will use a closed Land Rover. If there is more than 3 people on the tour we will use an 8 seater safari vehicle. For bigger groups our unique 22 seat safari vehicle will be used.
The drive will set off from the premises of Dungbeetle River Lodge at 10.00 a.m. Join us for a coffee/tea on the deck and then set off to the National Park, 10 minutes away.
A picnic lunch is provided and includes drinks and dry snacks at an appropriate time and the free use of Nikon binoculars.
